1. You have just won the Franchisee of the Year award at the FASA awards 2014. How do you feel about receiving this award? Wow! What an unexpected but wonderful surprise! This award is absolute validation and recognition of our hard work as a team and proves that we truly reap what we sow. God has been so good to us!

2. Where does your passion for your business come from?

I have always had an "ALL OR NOTHING" attitude towards everything - my business, spiritual life, family etc. and encourage my team to develop the same attitude. I have the most loyal, dedicated staff who have learnt to not only meet but EXCEED our clients' expectations. Our clients love us, which makes our store a happy, thriving place and a pleasure to come to everyday.

3. What do you love most about being a Perfect 10 franchise owner?

We are a brand on the move and I am proud to be a part of the largest beauty company in the country. I love the fact that holidaymakers who converge on our little town Google and search us out. They are brand- conscious and won't go to the "Sweaty Betties" around the corner! Being a part of a franchised brand has benefits too numerous to mention, but a key benefit is the collective buying and bargaining power we have in the beauty industry.

4. What inspires you to get up and go in the morning?

I serve an awesome God who has seen to bless me more abundantly than I deserve, how can I not wake up with a great big smile and even greater gratitude to go out there and make Him proud? I am sometimes convinced that our clients use beauty as an excuse to visit us for a kind word and a cappuccino!

5. What is your favourite product?

My favourites change often and depend on my mood, but right now I am a die-hard fan and absolutely adore the NSI Secrets range. The colours are fabulous and the design possibilities endless. My ladies are having such fun with them!

6. Do have any beauty advice for the ladies out there?

Beauty should never be a guilty treat but rather a tool to empower us and make us walk tall. Having said that, remember less is always more! True beauty should always radiate from a smile, a touch, a kind word. Let the legacy you want to leave behind tomorrow dictate your actions today.
